Not everyone has twelve days, or the knees, for all four dhams. That's where Do Dham comes in: Kedarnath and Badrinath — the two most powerful stops of the Char Dham — in about a week. For most working people and many seniors, it's the smartest way to do the yatra.

If you can only ever do one Himalayan yatra, most pilgrims would still tell you Kedarnath + Badrinath is the one. You lose two temples, not the experience.
The 6-day itinerary (from Haridwar)
- Day 1: Haridwar → Guptkashi (8–9 hrs). Overnight.
- Day 2: Guptkashi → Sonprayag/Gaurikund → Kedarnath trek (or helicopter). Night at Kedarnath.
- Day 3: Kedarnath morning darshan → back to Guptkashi/Sonprayag.
- Day 4: Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath (long day). Evening darshan if time permits.
- Day 5: Badrinath darshan, Mana village, Tapt Kund. Return to Joshimath/Rudraprayag.
- Day 6: Drive back to Haridwar.
Add a day each side if you start from Delhi (8D/7N).

- From Haridwar: ₹15,815 (6D/5N).
- From Delhi: ₹21,907 (8D/7N).
- Add: Kedarnath pony (₹2,500–4,000) or helicopter (₹7,000–8,000), palki for seniors.
Two smart upgrades
- Do Dham + Tungnath (7D/6N, from ₹18,861): add the world's highest Shiva temple at Chopta — a gentle 3.5 km ridge trek even kids manage.
- Do Dham by helicopter: same-day Kedarnath-Badrinath (about ₹1.37 lakh) or a 4-day version (from ₹1.54 lakh) for seniors and time-poor pilgrims.
Tips
- Same rules as Char Dham: register (free, mandatory), avoid tight schedules in July–August (landslides), and carry layers even in May.
- Badrinath's road access is easy; the challenge in Do Dham is really just the Kedarnath trek — so plan your legs (or pony) around it.
